     Identify the Green features of a home and evaluate their impact on the Greenness of the home

 

     Demonstrate the concepts of the Green Real Estate paradigm and utilize its terminology correctly in serving sellers and buyers in this special segment of the market.

 

     Recognize and respond to differing concerns, priorities and motivations of differently motivated Green-generation real estate consumers

 

     Be aware of and make appropriate disclosures to be in compliance with the REALTORS® Code of Ethics on issues of Greenness

 

    Recognize the features that make a new construction home Green and/or resource efficient in its construction

 

    Inform customers and clients of the significance of LEED, Energy Star, HERS and other rating systems

 

    Adapt listing presentations and buyer-counseling sessions to address concerns and priorities of different Green real estate consumers

 

     Inform customers and clients of Green mortgage options.

 

     Recognize the importance of adding Green feature descriptions and Green Home certifications to the descriptions of seller’s properties

 

    Guide buyers in finding and making an offer on a resource-efficient property
